Sweety Shetty, known by her stage name Anushka Shetty (born 7 November 1981), is an Indian actress and model who works mainly in the Telugu film industry and the Tamil film industry. Out of eight nominations, she has won many awards, including three CineMAA Awards, a Nandi Award, TN State Film Awards, and three Filmfare Awards. She made her acting debut with the 2005 Telugu film Super, which garnered her a Filmfare Best Supporting Actress – Telugu nomination.
Her other releases, Lakshyam (2007) and Souryam (2008), as well as Chintakayala Ravi (2008), were also box office achievements. In 2009, in the Telugu dark fantasy film Arundhati, Shetty played dual roles, which earned her critical acclaim and several awards, including her first Best Actress Filmfare Award-Telugu, Nandi Award, Best Actress Cinema Award.
